3 Ways to Stay on Track with Your Fitness Goals

Boot Camp Training

It’s one thing to set your mind on something–like achieving your ideal body–but it’s another thing entirely to turn your aspirations into reality. As time passes by, you may find it increasingly difficult to stick with your fitness routine. Fortunately, there are a few simple things you can do to increase your willpower and stick with the program!

  1. Find a Workout Buddy

When you’re the only one keeping track of your progress, you don’t have much accountability, do you? Consider recruiting a workout buddy who will exercise with you and keep you motivated to stick with your fitness routine. If you’re struggling to convince your mates a great way to find likeminded people is to join a boot camp where your new friends will hold you accountable. Skipping a scheduled exercise day is a lot more difficult to justify when you have a partner relying on you.

  1. Use a Fitness App

There are some great (and free!) fitness apps available for smartphones and other devices; these apps not only help you track your fitness goals, calorie intake, and weight loss, but also publish your progress to your social media pages. This is another great way to increase your accountability and keep yourself motivated!

  1. Set Realistic, Intermittent Goals

Finally, make sure to set attainable goals for yourself. While you may ultimately want to lose 10kgs or be able to compete in a triathlon, you’re more likely to stay motivated if you set smaller, intermittent goals for yourself. For example, you may decide to set your goals in 2kg increments so you can celebrate lots of little victories along the way.

By following these simple tips, you’ll be well on your way to a healthier and fitter body in no time. Good luck!
