We aim to make people fall in love with fitness, create healthier habits for themselves and still enjoy the great things in life. This is the philosophy behind Bridge Fitness. After 10 years in the health and fitness industry, Bridgette Carter used her considerable industry expertise to develop group fitness programmes for women that achieve results. The team at Bridge Fitness provide group personal training and flexible fitness programs at the lovely Elwood beach.

Our approach to fitness is to make it fun, motivating and most of all to make people feel comfortable so they really push their personal boundaries. We understand everyone is super busy these days, but health and fitness should be squeezed in and made a priority. At Bridge Fitness we create sustainable fitness by designing a program to fit your unique lifestyle. By keeping the workouts fresh, your body is always guessing and wanting more. We are less about ‘commando’ and more about ‘inspiration. This brings the best out in people and filters through to all aspects of their life.

We train inside at the lovely Elwood Angling Club when the weather is bad but otherwise we are outside on Elwood Beach.

Bridgette Carter

Founder

Bridgette has a knack for making people fall in love with fitness, create healthier habits for themselves and still enjoy the great things in life. Her passion is helping women lose weight and live confident lives full of fitness.

After 10 years in the health and fitness industry, she used her expertise to develop group fitness programmes for women that achieve results. Be Active, Be Confident, Be Yourself is the philosophy behind Bridge Fitness. To create a healthy, fit, comfortable environment for women to train. Its all about the community of fit women who are all there to support each other and champion each others success.

Qualifications:
Australian Institute of Fitness Cert III & IV Fitness, AIF Master Trainer, Senior First Aid & CPR, Advanced Bootcamp & Outdoor Group Fitness Instructor, Punch Fit Boxing Instructor, Nutrition. FMA Strength & Conditioning Coach

Hannah Owens

Head Trainer

Hannah loves training people and having variety in her workouts. She has been training with Bridge Fitness since July 2015. Originally from the UK where she studied to become a personal trainer.

Hannah has a strong background in swim and triathlon coaching. She moved into personal training both in the gym and outdoor in a bootcamp setting. She enjoys the variety that’s possible with outdoor training also loves the social aspect of bridge fitness as all the girls are awesome and motivate each other!

Hannah has completed a few half marathons and is wrestling with the idea of training for a full marathon. She was a competitive swimmer and has trained in the past for boxing and is currently training to compete in power lifting!

Qualifications:
Exercise and Sport Sciences Degree. Cert III & IV Fitness, Senior First Aid & CPR

Penny Lavery

Fitness Trainer

Penny has a passion for fitness and helping others reach their goals. A contracts administrator for the construction industry full time, she recently decided to turn her passion into a career and join the fitness industry.

New to Bridge Fitness, Penny has been strength training since 2013 and loves Pilates and HIIT training. Her philosophy is that not one shoe fits all and everyone needs to find what works for them in relation to training and nutrition.
Penny is inspired by the motivation and hard work of all the women that make Bridge Fitness the success that it is. The beach views and happy vibes make it the perfect way to start the day.

Qualifications:
Fitness Cert III & currently finalising IV Fitness, First Aid & CPR
